Up Coming Technology

January 26, 2010

Today in our world wide much of technology devloped by our engineer.  that is good shine of our life.  here are many technology develop in every sector like-  Education ,  Health , Communication ,  Industry every where you can find the develop technology.  so basically we are increase our it industry,  because 80%people are  depend the it sector.  so we are  simple  going on our life.  In world wide much of company grow with there technology  if you have see in our all over world some few country are developing her self like china,  japan, uk and usa  there are using the most developed instrument.

Every sector has been developed and much of technology coming to the market in every day,   and all are is unbelievable technology  before some few year what we are thinking but at present that all are coming to in our front.   now called today age is computer age.

so much of technology coming to next year that is one type of excitement technology.  recently coming to transponde monitor and nano 12core proceser and 4g mobile  there use advanced technology to eaiser to our life going on.

USB to RS422 Serial Converter Cable

USB cables provide RS-422 and RS-485 interface support

January 26, 2010

FTDI announced the availability of two serial interface converter cables that incorporate transceivers to facilitate connecting RS-422 or RS-485 based peripherals to a PC’s USB port. Using FTDI’s FT232RQ USB to asynchronous serial interface IC, the USB-RS485-WE converter cable includes an RS-485 transceiver while the USB-RS422-WE cable utilises a RS-42 transceiver. The far end of the 1.8m cables are wire ended (no connector). With the electronics encapsulated in the USB connector, these cables provide a quick, easy and completely transparent method of supporting these serial interface standards. With the complete USB protocol being managed within the FT232RQ device, there is no requirement for designers or end-customers to concern themselves with how to implement the USB standard.very fast and quick data sharing server to client.

Single chip Hi-speed USB 2.0 solutions ease serial and parallel interfacing

FTDI announced the availability of their 5th generation of USB to UART/FIFO ICs. The two new devices support the 480 Mb/s USB 2.0 Hi-Speed specification. The FT2232H and FT4232H devices have the capability of being configured in a variety of industry standard serial or parallel interfaces such as UART or FIFO. The FT4232H offers four configurable interfaces and the FT2232H two configurable interfaces. Two of the FT4232H’s interfaces and both of the FT2232H’s interfaces can be configured as UART, JTAG, SPI, I2C or bitbang mode serial interfaces with independent baud rate generators. Datasheet:

Dattoos

January 26, 2010

The Body as Information Platform

The concept of the Dattoo arose in response to current trends towards increasing connectivity and technology as self-expression. To realize a state of constant, seamless connectivity and computability required the convergence of technology and self. The body would need to literally become the interface. Computers and communication devices require physical space, surfaces, and energy. The idea of DNA tattoos (Dattoos) is to use the body itself as hardware and interaction platform, through the use of minimally-invasive, recyclable materials.

The Self Within Society

To achieve absolute personal identification, the hardware would capture DNA from the user’s body, enabling direct participation in the political and cultural landscape. The technology would link remote users through engagement with their areas of interest. The system would be personalized not only by this DNA inclusion, but by a more standard procedure in which users choose the applications they carry. Content I/O – including tools like cameras, microphones and laser-loudspeakers – would be connected to “interface pods”, then function as generic hardware. Dattoos are to be created on the body, in clothing, or via accessories, so they remain constantly with the user. Software would be “liquid,” so that it looks as if the UI and content interaction are an extension of the bionic body.

Expressive Technology

All hardware would be created on demand and assembled via a special online design portal. Users view, test-drive, and select their product from a variety of options, both functional and aesthetic. They also set the lifecycle of the product, to be utilized for a few hours or a much longer amount of time. Once users are satisfied with their specific configurations, they have this fully-functioning circuitry – including all UI-interactive and display functions – “printed” onto recommended areas of their skin. Energy would be pulled from the human body to run the programs. At the end of the day, users would simply wash the Dattoos off, beginning anew the following day.

Result

Utilizing future technology, Dattoos have yet to reach fruition. The final concept aims to achieve a convergence of the following capabilities: DNA-reader and identification technology; nanosensors and interactive “touch reading” for finger tips (Braille); pattern and image recognition; self-learning and educational applications; living materials that change shape and feel; flexible OLED displays; full voice interaction, directional laser speakers; bionic nano chips; and cyborg components.
